Olive trees in Kashmir

Olea europaea trees– Olive trees prefer sub-tropical and temperate regions of the world. These trees are native to the Asia and Africa. They like hot weather and sunny positions without any shade. They need full sun for fruit production, but also need a slight winter chill for the fruit to set. Temperatures below minus 10°C (14°F) may injure even a mature tree.
Trees can produce a crop when they are 6 years old and continue producing a commercial yield for the next 50+ years.

Shippment : You must pick up the large planting material from our office directly, however 100 to 200 plants shippment is possiable for by air.Fright charges additional.

Heeng seeds Kashmir

The perennial asafoetida plants has several varieties and are native to the region between the Mediterranean region to Central Asia, especially Iran,Kashmir and Afghanistan. The other species, known botanically as Ferula northex, grow abundantly in Nepal, Western Tibet and Afghanistan.

AsafoetidaHeeng is a very effective medicinal herb that acts mainly on the digestive system, cleansing and strengthening the gastro-intestinal tract. It is much used in the Ayurvedic tradition. The gum-resin contains a volatile oil that is as persistent in aroma as garlic. They leave the body via the respiratory system and aid the coughing up of congested mucous. The pungently flavoured gum-resin that is obtained from the root is alterative, anthelmintic, antiperiodic, antispasmodic, carminative, deobstruent, deodorant, expectorant, laxative, sedative and stomachic. It is used in the treatment of simple digestive problems such as wind, bloating, indigestion and constipation, and also for respiratory problems such as bronchitis, bronchial asthma and whooping cough. It is also used as a circulatory stimulant, lowering blood pressure and thinning the blood. The resin has a synergistic effect on other herbal preparations such as camphor, valerian and nux-vomica. It is used in tincture as a mild cardio-tonic. See below under “Uses notes” for details on harvesting the resin.

Physalis alkekengi in prostate problems

The plant has a long history of herbal use, and an interesting chemistry, but it is seldom used in modern practice. The whole plant is antiphlogistic, antipyretic, antitussive and expectorant. It has been used in the treatment of urinary and skin diseases. Some caution is recommended since an overdose of the plant is said to easily precipitate an abortion. The fruit is aperient, strongly diuretic and lithontripic. It is used internally in the treatment of gravel, suppression of urine etc and is highly recommended in fevers and in gout. The fruit is harvested when fully ripe and can be used fresh, juiced or dried. The calyx should be removed. The leaves and stems are febrifuge and slightly tonic. They are used in the treatment of the malaise that follows malaria, and for weak or anaemic people. The fresh leaves have been used externally to make soothing poultices in the treatment of skin inflammations. The seed is used to promote early labour. A homeopathic remedy is made from the fruit. It is used in the natural treatment of kidney, prostate and bladder disorders.

Salvia apiana-White Sage seed plants

White Sage

Latin name: Salvia apiana

Family: Labiatae

White Sage: An infusion of the leaves is used as a blood tonic and as a treatment for coughs and colds. The leaves can be eaten, or used as a sweat bath, in the treatment of colds. The seeds have been used as eye cleaners. No more information is given here, but in other instances, the seed has been placed in the eye, it then forms a gelatinous covering to which any foreign matter in the eye adheres. The seed is washed out of the eye by the eyes own tears.
